OUR FOUNDER
SABA was founded six decades ago by Joe Saba, whose vision was to create clothing that felt modern, refined and relevant to the way Australians live. Over the decades, Joe Saba became one of the defining voices of Australian fashion, known for his refined tailoring, minimalist aesthetic and confident approach to modern dressing.
From being part of the jean revolution of the late 1960s to presenting collections at Australian Fashion Week and Melbourne Fashion Festival, Saba helped shape the evolution of Australian fashion and its place within the global creative community. His influence was later recognised through inclusion in Australia Post’s Legends stamp series honouring leaders of the fashion industry.
